DAEWON PRECISION INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. values users’ personal information and complies with applicable laws.

The ‘Company’ regards the protection of members’ personal information as important and complies with laws including the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, the Personal Information Protection Act, the Act on the Protection and Use of Location Information, and guidelines established by relevant authorities. Through this privacy policy, the ‘Company’ informs members of how the personal information they provide is used and what efforts are made to protect it.
1. Items of Personal Information Collected/Used and Collection Method
The items of personal information the Company collects/uses and the collection method are as follows.
- Items collected/used: user ID, password
- Collection method: provided through membership registration
Members may refuse to provide the above personal information. However, if provision is refused, some or all of the services may be unavailable.
2. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information
The Company distinguishes between items that require the data subject’s consent and those that do not when processing collected personal information. The purpose of use for each item is as follows.

- Password: identity verification

- Access logs (date/time of visit, etc.): service-quality improvement, contract performance and dispute resolution
3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
Personal information collected with a member’s consent is retained and used while membership is maintained and, upon a request for withdrawal, is completely deleted in an unrecoverable manner. However, in the event of harm from identity theft, the Company may temporarily retain a member’s website ID for up to 14 days from the date of withdrawal for recovery and victim protection, after which it is completely deleted in an unrecoverable manner. Where retention is required under laws such as the Commercial Act, information is retained for the periods below.

4. Sharing and Provision of Personal Information
The Company uses members’ personal information within the purposes disclosed at the time of collection and, in principle, does not disclose it externally without the member’s prior consent. The following are exceptions.
- Where the member has consented to disclosure in advance
- Where the terms of service or other member service terms/policies have been violated
- Where there is sufficient ground to believe that disclosure is necessary to take legal action against a member who has caused mental or material harm to others through the service
- Where the provision of data is mandated by relevant law, or requested by a court, investigative agency or other administrative agency through lawful procedures
5. Procedure and Method of Destroying Personal Information
A member’s personal information is destroyed without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved. The procedure and method are as follows.
Destruction Procedure
Information the Company has collected/used, such as data entered by a member for registration, is stored for the retention period required by internal policy and relevant laws after the purpose of use is achieved, and is then destroyed.

- Personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
- Personal information stored as electronic files is deleted using technical methods that render it unrecoverable.
6. Rights of Members and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them
Members and legal representatives may withdraw consent to the provision of personal information (cancel membership) at any time and may view or modify the registered personal information of themselves or of children under 14 (legal representatives only). If a member requests correction of an error in personal information, the Company will not use or provide that information until the correction is complete, and if the incorrect information has already been provided to a third party, it will notify the third party of the correction without delay.
7. Technical and Administrative Measures to Protect Personal Information
The Company takes the following technical and administrative measures to prevent members’ personal information from being lost, stolen, leaked, altered or damaged. To guard against hacking and computer viruses, it backs up data frequently and uses up-to-date anti-virus software, transmits personal information securely over networks using cryptographic algorithms, and controls unauthorized external access with intrusion-prevention systems. It also limits the handling of personal information to designated staff, assigns them separate passwords that are updated regularly, and continually emphasizes compliance with the privacy policy through periodic staff training.

The Company designates a Personal Information Protection Officer as below to take overall responsibility for personal-information processing and to handle data subjects’ complaints and remedy any harm related to such processing.

9. Civil Complaint Service Regarding Personal Information
The Company has established procedures and methods to gather members’ opinions and handle complaints regarding personal information. Members may report complaints via the Protection Officer’s contact above, and the Company will respond promptly and fully. You may also consult or report personal-information infringement to the agencies below.

10. Miscellaneous
The ‘Company’s’ privacy policy may change due to amendments to laws or guidelines or changes to the Company’s internal policy. When the policy is revised, the changes are announced in a way members can confirm, such as on the service’s home screen. Additions, deletions or modifications are announced at least 7 days before they take effect.
