Since its founding in 1983, under the slogan of being customer-, quality- and technology-oriented, Daewon has developed new technologies and a wide range of products our customers seek, based on the expertise accumulated over the years. Through technical cooperation with KEIPER of Germany we introduced advanced technology, and to respond actively to the new paradigm of the automobile industry we now mass-produce traction motors — a core component of electric vehicles — and have entered the North American market (DWPa), reborn as a company that leads the future of automotive parts.

Since its founding in 1983, Daewon Precision Industrial has grown into a seat-parts specialist with unrivaled quality and technology, leading Korea’s automotive seat industry. Through seat safety and functional products — cushion frames, tracks, adjusters, recliners, pumping devices and gearboxes — and through more convenient functions, safer technology and state-of-the-art production, we take responsibility for the safety of drivers and passengers at the closest range.
We are also responding actively to the paradigm shift in the automobile industry by mass-producing traction motors — a core EV component pursued as a new business — and are laying the cornerstone of global management through our entry into the North American market (DWPa).

Harmony & Unity,
a Symbol of Continuity
The Daewon Precision symbol is based on a circle symbolizing harmony and unity, expressing the wish of all Daewon people to endure wisely and harmoniously through any era and any adversity.
A large outer circle surrounds the center while five spokes connect the inner and outer circles, supporting one another as they turn — expressing a progressive spirit, firmly united as one organization to prevail in every competition at home and abroad. The large circle represents all employees, the small inner circle the management, and the five wheel-spoke lines the middle management; being neither thick nor thin but consistent, they signify equal human relationships.
The symbol color is green (DAEWON GREEN), symbolizing youth and prosperity, expressing the resolve of all Daewon people to achieve boundless prosperity together with the nation, with the spirit and will of an ever-rolling wheel.
